Moving along.....

Well, met Scott, my contractor, at the house yesterday to figure out where the electrical outlets, switches and lights are going and to finalize the siding thoughts.  Im impressed with the progress!  Its looking great....  After I left, I picked out the flooring, tile, carpet & hardwoods, then picked out plumbing fixtures.  The house is being wired today & we are definitely getting closer to sheetrock & being fully enclosed.  Below are the newest pics.

Went out to the house today to see the weeks progress.....forgot how muddy it was.  Had to put the truck in 4wheel drive in order to get down the driveway....cant wait for things to dry out a bit, so we can work on rerouting some of the groundwater.  Lots happened in the past week, most of the windows are in, furnace is in, fireplace is in its spot, ductwork & plumbing are almost complete....almost ready for electrical.  See pics below:

Time flies!

Well, the first week of February is already coming to a close.  A lot has happened with the house since my last posting.  The pictures below speak for themselves, but here are some updates that dont show in the pics.  The plumbing drain pipes are in, heating ductwork is done, tub/shower unit for the guest bath is in place, windows are in, furnace is in, fireplace is in place and cabinets have been ordered.   Coming soon is the siding on the front of the house, electrical, remaining plumbing & doors.  Then....the inside!  When I asked my contractor what if we were on schedule, he said yes & the move in date is scheduled for April 1st.  Not sure if we'll make that date, but its exciting to know its that soon.  See pics below...
